Resort Il Trebbio

Angelo's homemade wine was a treat, and both he and Diego were attentive and helpful. We were all delighted with the house during our early May stay. It was neat and clean, and matched the pictures and listing. The views across Barga and the valley were magnificent. The weather didn't always cooperate, so we couldn't make as much use of the outdoor facilities as we'd hoped.

We found this villa for friends who were joining us for a wedding down the road at I Cedri, and the place was much better than the Il Trebbio and Il Trivium websites suggest. It's spacious and very clean, set in the lovely village of Albiano. Diego, his father, and his mother were incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you so much!

The views of Barga were stunning, and the quiet setting away from traffic and chaos could suit a few peaceful days if you arrive without high expectations. But calling this a luxurious resort doesn't fit: the decorations are dated and cheap, both kitchens are old, the chairs are small, and the sofas aren't comfortable. A resort should offer comfort and have everything restored and working. The gas charge at the end of the night was extremely high and left us speechless. I think it's best to avoid places where the price isn't made clear from the start. Quite a disappointment.

We had a fantastic holiday. The place was well cared for, spotless, and had everything we needed. Diego and his family were genuinely welcoming and helped make the stay feel special. Top marks!
