We had to leave three days before our stay was meant to end. It wasn’t an easy call, but the conditions left us feeling we had no choice, and our holiday was ruined by the stress and lack of comfort. There were ants in the room every day, including on the bed and my pillow. For three days running, we also had to kill a salamander inside. My wife is very afraid of them and couldn’t sleep, so we lost our rest and peace of mind. The bed linen was dirty from day one, with hair and sand on the sheets. The shower was tiny and impractical, with just a fixed showerhead above your head and no hose, so we couldn’t shower without getting our hair wet. The place felt uncomfortable and highly unhygienic.

Having a car makes this location a good choice, especially since parking in the City center is a nightmare. We were given a parking space on site, and for the amount we paid, it was a very good deal.

The room was clean and roomy, and its location is handy for an early flight. But the air-conditioning wasn’t working, the shower only gave boiling hot water, and the mattress smelled strongly of mold.

It’s a clean, quiet place with a green yard, and the coastal promenade is nice for a bike ride all the way to Santo Spirito. The beaches aren’t so great, though, and public transport is inconvenient and complicated.
