The price, just €27, was about the only good thing here. This is an older hostel, and the room furnishings are old and dingy. We had a pretty disgusting roommate who hung his clothes, including pants and underwear, to dry in the room, spread his things over the table and luggage rack, and farted shamelessly all night. It was the worst overnight stay I’ve had, even though I’m used to alpine huts with no comforts. The accommodation can’t control its guests, but a few changes might make things better for everyone: post clear quiet hours in the rooms, ban drying clothes in bedrooms and provide a drying room, and take the dining table and TV out of the bedroom. Eating and watching TV in a common room would be enough.

The staff are very friendly, and the place is clean and affordable, right in central Bergamo. It’s only a few steps from the train station, with the old center, Citta Alta, a short walk away. The bus connection to Bergamo airport takes about 15 minutes. Highly recommended.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized, and I had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent, with everyone being kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

I booked directly for 53 euros for one night, which felt like a very competitive price. The double room wasn’t modern, but it was clean and functional, and the receptionist was friendly with good food suggestions. I could check in early, and self check-out was no trouble. The walls are thin, though. On Friday night I heard people returning late and making noise, so light sleepers might want earplugs.

The room is basic and simple, but it works if you just need somewhere to sleep and don’t plan to spend the day there. The location is great, close to the train station. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and email communication went smoothly.
