The drive was worth it for us. The atmosphere is calm, the gardens are beautiful, and the staff were very nice and hospitable, helping with our requests. The pool was great on a hot day, and there's a hiking trail right from the property that leads up to the tops of two nearby mountains. Just be aware the road to the resort is steep and narrow, with no streetlights, so some people may not feel comfortable driving up. For us, it was a 10 out of 10.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious. The pool is nice, but not kid friendly since there's nowhere to stand, and even adults are fully submerged if they can't swim. It feels a bit expensive given that you have to travel up a gravel road on the side of a mountain and the Internet is virtually nonexistent.

It was a nice, quiet stay. We were worried about dinner after reading the reviews, but it was actually great. The homemade pesto is even better if you get the chance to try it. The only downside was that the beds and pillows weren't very comfortable.

The staff were flexible, helpful, and friendly. The garden and pool have a lovely view, and the rooms and food were good too. It’s a great base for hiking, though driving down to the beach takes about 13 minutes.

A charming, tucked-away spot with welcoming staff. Our room was sparsely furnished, and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut. We also needed air conditioning during our visit, but there wasn’t any.
