PLOSE Parkhotel & Residence

The hotel is in a beautiful location, but we were disappointed by how they dealt with a serious problem. On arrival day, we got an email saying the tap water was unsafe and we should buy our own water at a shop several kilometers away. We were given just one small bottle on arrival. After emailing reception twice, we finally received a pack of small bottles. A 4-star hotel should make sure guests have safe drinking water, especially when they’ve booked an apartment. That obligation wasn’t properly met.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we could cook meals using clean utensils and an electric stove. The closest supermarket was a 30-minute drive, but we’d planned ahead and bought supplies on the way in. We had a lovely two-night stay at Plose Hotel in late June. Thanks to the elevation, we avoided some of the hottest temperatures and enjoyed a beautiful panoramic walk that started and ended right at the hotel. Shout out to Iveta for being so warm and welcoming and for recommending the hike! I’d definitely recommend it for a reasonably priced stay in the area.

The staff were so welcoming, and the location worked perfectly for us. We had a great stay and would happily come back.

Nicole came through for my family and our friends when we needed a last-minute place to stay. She saved our vacation, and I’m especially grateful for her help.
