We were stuck on a snowy mountain road last night after the snow socks from our rental car company failed. Since Hotel Ortler was nearby, we called, and Ramona found us a room and offered us food at the restaurant. She also rang a garage in a nearby village to check whether they had chains that would fit our tires, and kept making sure we were all right. We were lucky to have her help. The room was great, and they even split the bed into twins so my husband wouldn’t catch my awful cold. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. We couldn’t have asked for better support. Ramona and Armin went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s a family-run place, and the service was impeccable. We felt relaxed, almost like we were at a wellness resort. The food by chef Armin was amazing, so we ate dinner at the hotel all three nights instead of going to restaurants in town. We stayed for our honeymoon and didn’t want to leave. We even tried to cancel our next hotel so we could stay longer. The pool and views are the best in Kastelruth, and it was lovely to swim and have a beer after hiking. The nearest bus stop for town is just a 10-second walk away. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you ❤️❤️

The pool and facilities were clean and inviting, and the view was exceptional. The food was fantastic too. The owners were so friendly and nice. I hope I get the chance to visit again.
