B&B I Mori

We got great tips for seeing Catania on foot and choosing restaurants, plus advice on renting a car for Siracusa, Cefalu, Etna and elsewhere. We took the bus to Taormina for the day and found it comfortable and affordable. Roberta was friendly, attentive and so helpful, and even offers taxi services at much lower prices than airport or street taxis. The room and bathroom were spotless, modern and full of thoughtful touches. The bed was great, the water pressure good, and breakfast was amazing, all made from scratch by Roberta. We felt looked after and had a memorable stay.

The restaurant Roberta suggested ended up being my best meal of the trip, and she gave me a map of things to see. My room was spacious and clean, and the location was just right. Check-in was easy, and Roberta kept in touch throughout. One lovely surprise was the stars on the ceiling when I turned out the lights. In the morning she made me coffee, and we had such a nice conversation that I wished I could have stayed longer. She even offered to make a gluten-free crêpe. She clearly cares about her guests and goes out of her way for them.

Roberta made our vacation memorable with all the energy and care she put into being such a welcoming host. She seems to understand what you need and think things through from your point of view, rather than treating you like just another guest. You can ask her for help without feeling like a bother, and she'll gladly do what she can. A bit like a supermom. The accommodation itself was a wonderful surprise, and what Roberta does feels authentic. We're grateful for her strength, hospitality and everything she did.

Getting around by car is convenient, since the B&B is right by the edge of the zona traffico limitato, and Catania's center is a short walk away. Roberta was a lovely host. Our room was spotless and furnished with care, down to the little details. Breakfast was a treat, with homemade omelets and crêpes, coffee, fresh fruit and pastries.
