The host was extremely kind and always available, and the apartment has all the comforts needed for a great vacation. It's just steps from the cathedral and historic center, so it's handy for visiting the city. Everything matches the description, and I'd gladly return.

Avoid this place. It was advertised with air conditioning, but when I arrived in July, with temperatures at 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), there was none 😂 There was only one window, and renovations meant it couldn't be opened. I asked for a full refund over what felt like a scam, and they refused. Luckily, they'll be removed from booking.com. 2022 is a beautiful city like Catania, and some Catanese are ruining it and have no right to live there. AVOID

The host was very kind and helpful, and the location was excellent. I was told in advance that renovations meant there was no air conditioning. There were fans, and they were enough for a pleasant stay. I definitely recommend it.

Buildings like these in Catania's old city center are worth looking up at.
