The location is in the centre, close to the historic part of the city, and the beach is only five minutes away by car. There’s a large shopping mall and plenty of restaurants nearby too. Parking in front of the hotel is free, and the hotel itself is easy to find, though the city street map can be a little confusing. Our Superior room was spacious, warm in style, absolutely clean, and had lovely pictures on the walls plus a large loggia balcony. The bathroom had a rain shower. Breakfast was great, with omelettes, eggs, jams, sausages, cheese, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit, sweets and cakes, pretty much whatever you wanted. The staff were very nice and helpful. Danilo at reception spoke English and even German, which was especially nice since German isn’t spoken in hotels in Calabria. I work at a travel agency and think this is a top hotel. We come every year. Thanks to the whole Hotel Niagara team, and to Danilo. See you all in 2026!

The food was excellent and our room was clean. Everyone on staff was kind, friendly, and worked hard to make the stay good. Francesco deserves special thanks for going well beyond what we expected. We had a great time and I’d happily stay here again. Thanks!

The one issue during our stay was the elevator breaking down, and it couldn’t be fixed straight away. Otherwise, it’s a decent hotel about 300 metres on foot from the beach and seafront promenade. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were cleaned and made up daily to a good standard, and breakfast had both sweet and savoury options.

You can walk just about everywhere from Niagara Hotel, and it’s very close to the sea. There are cafés, restaurants, and shops in the nearby area. Our room was nice and well furnished, with a big bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the staff were nice.
