The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, but our stay overall wasn't great. There's quite a bit that could be improved. The food let us down, apart from a few dishes we really liked. There wasn't much variety, especially with the appetizers, which were always the same. Sometimes the pasta was undercooked, and once the fish was so tough we couldn't cut it with a knife. The bikes were in very poor shape. They were uncomfortable, the tires were flat, the brakes stiff, and the seats so worn that bits of upholstery ended up on our pants. There wasn't a single bike with a basket, which would have been useful for carrying things or for families with children. The room wasn't always as clean as we expected, especially the floors. One morning we left early and came back around lunchtime, after being out for more than two hours, expecting everything to have been cleaned. The bed was made and the room looked tidy, but the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. A few minutes after we came in, the cleaner knocked and said she still had work to do while she was cleaning another room. That wouldn't have been a problem on its own, but she kept insisting, even though we were already back and needed to get ready. She didn't speak Italian, so it was hard to communicate, and things got confusing when she became insistent. There was no soundproofing, either. We could hear practically everything happening in the other rooms. The pillows had hardly any padding, the mattresses were uncomfortable and had annoying springs, and instead of one double bed there were two separate mattresses. Some things in the room didn't work: the safe wouldn't open even when we followed the instructions, the hair dryer was broken, and the TV worked erratically. We didn't worry much about the TV or dryer since we rarely watch TV and the heat let our hair dry on its own. Still, it would be wise to check that everything works before new guests arrive.

The entertainers made the week for us. They were warm, creative, and brilliant at getting everyone involved, even the shyest guests. There were team games, tournaments, and evening entertainment, and they created a lovely group atmosphere. The food was light and delicious, the rooms comfortable and clean, and the location worked well for exploring the area. The staff were welcoming and made us feel at home. We came back from a week's vacation feeling like we'd had a relaxing, fun stay, and were sad to leave. We can't wait to return. If you go, don't miss the games and activities. The entertainers really are special.

The hotel was a pleasant stay all around, and we will most likely come back next year with my family. From outside it isn't much to look at, but inside it was a real surprise. Our room was modern, clean, and well equipped, though not especially spacious. The bathroom was small but practical, and the TV was large. The pool wasn't huge but was comfortable, and the children's play area was extensive, with lots of variety. Water, wine, and soft drinks were included at lunch, and there were dispensers with unlimited water and soft drinks through the day and evening. I have gluten and lactose intolerances, and this was the first holiday where I felt completely taken care of. At breakfast they had a box ready with gluten-free and lactose-free biscuits, cereal, bread, and even pastries. At lunch and dinner, nearly all the main dishes and sides suited me, and they always had gluten-free and lactose-free pasta and sauces for the first course. They even made special desserts for me at lunch and dinner. During an aperitif dinner one evening, I thought there'd be nothing I could eat, but a receptionist brought me gluten-free bread with salmon and ham. It was a small gesture that made me feel appreciated. At the dessert buffet, I also had two gluten-free and lactose-free desserts, another lovely surprise that made me feel included with the other guests. The receptionists were welcoming, kind, and always available. Their courtesy and professionalism went well beyond what I expected from a 3-star hotel. When we arrived, they clearly explained how everything worked, including the dining room and pool, and told us we could have lunch at the beach club at no extra cost.
