The hotel is only two hundred meters from the beach, and there’s a parking lot for customers not too far away. It was quiet and clean, and the staff were welcoming and keen to help, even with special requests. One small suggestion: a map or a short description of the route to the parking lot would help, or they could save the location as a barcode for English-speaking guests. I only found it on my third try.

The sea and beach are just seconds away on foot, though we couldn’t really enjoy them because we had bad weather and never went swimming. The hotel gives a discount for Medusa beach, 10 euros for 2 sun loungers and an umbrella. It took 11 minutes to walk from the train station along Via Cremona at an average pace. There’s a large EuroSpin supermarket near the station, about 9 minutes from the apartment. For a closer option, head toward the sea, turn left, and walk 30 meters to a small private supermarket. It costs more, but has what you need. The apartment was wonderful, clean, and comfortable. The family running the hotel does everything they can to make guests feel at ease. The apartment felt small to me, and I’d rather stay in a bungalow at a campground. It is close to the beach, though.

The owner was kind and helpful, and gave us tips on places to visit, bike rental, and where to eat. The apartments are modern and well kept, and the residence is very close to the beach, with a special discount there. It’s on the western seafront. You can take the ferry to the eastern shore, with the stop less than 500 meters away, or enjoy the walk. Piadinerias, bars, and restaurants are all within walking distance, and the supermarket is just a few minutes away by car.

We had such a good time that we’ll definitely return. The family who runs the place is wonderful, so kind and helpful that it feels like home. We stayed 10 days in a lovely, fully renovated property with an elevator. Our apartment was new, clean, cozy, and had everything needed for a great vacation, with care given to every detail. It’s very close to the beach. A truly positive experience. Michele
