We found it handy to stay somewhere central for visiting the sights and wineries nearby. The staff gave us useful local suggestions, and breakfast came out promptly and was good. I was there with my family for a few nights, and we all had a very pleasant stay.

The room was only 17 degrees in December, and the heating never got fixed after we told the owners. The breakfast was poor too, and the hotel itself was bad. I hope people read the reviews before booking. I'm not trying to argue, just offering a suggestion. Judging by the reply, what I said was accurate. Guests won't be happy with that temperature.

The bathroom felt neglected, and the shower was really, REALLY tiny, maybe 60 cm by 60 cm. It was cold when I stayed in September, and a worm was walking across our table. Maybe that was a one-off, but the place didn't seem especially clean. The food was okay, though some salad leaves were brown and looked old. Wi-Fi didn't work. I was there for just one night. The staff were polite and generally nice, which was the only good part.

The heating in the rooms didn't work, breakfast was poor, and the TV was broken. There were five of us at a table set for five, but they gave us only four slices of salami. Worst hotel I've ever been to. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me.

The showers had a smell, and there was something like mercury behind the bathroom mirror. The beds felt awkward and flimsy too. This hotel really wasn't that great.
