The apartment has everything you need, and we felt at home right away. Everyone was so welcoming to our dog that this is already our second visit to Olive Press Lodge. The lodge sits among its own olive trees, and you can buy olive oil there too. There's a barbecue area and a lovely pool with views of Chiavari and the sea. A hiking trail into the mountains starts right above the property. Thanks, Adriana and Thomas, for all the help and good times. We'll definitely be back.

Thomas gave us such a warm welcome and was helpful with all our questions. The house has a lovely feel of history from its days as an oil press, and the surroundings are full of flowers and olive trees. We enjoyed the shared pool and the heated hot tub, which has a view over the city and sea and is available from 7 'till 10pm. Chiavari is a typical small Italian city, with narrow streets that can be tricky if you're driving a bigger car. But an evening stroll on the promenade, barefoot with gelato in hand, is a must. There were lots of mosquitoes, so bring enough repellents. We're pretty sure we'll return and bring friends to see this extraordinary place.

We only spent one night here, but Thomas made us feel very welcome. We picked the place at random and got lucky. Tucked into a quiet hillside among olive trees, it's a beautiful spot. The apartment had everything we needed, and the bed was so comfortable. I even got to enjoy a lovely swim in the pool overlooking the sea. Our few hours there were wonderfully relaxing, with such kind, friendly people. I'm writing this a few weeks later and still want to thank Thomas. I'd gladly recommend the place to friends and stay again.

We had a perfect stay and the hosts were really friendly. The only small drawback was that the curtains let in quite a bit of light, so the room got bright. Great hosts, too.

We were two adults and two kids, and had a wonderful time. The hosts were polite, friendly, and very accommodating. The apartment was great, and the location was beautiful, with a lovely garden, pool, jacuzzi, and places to relax. We'd definitely return.
