The staff were kind and accommodating, so five stars for them. But I wouldn't stay here again. Without a car, getting to the hostel on foot is tough, especially with bags on that very steep hill. The walls are paper thin, and there are several heavy doors on each floor as well as heavy doors to the rooms. Anyone coming or going makes a huge racket. All three mornings I was there, it started before 5 a.m. The breakfast was almost inedible: packaged junk food, awful coffee, no bread, and a little sliced meat and cheese that tasted as if it had gone bad. There's a kitchen, but no way to heat food, and no lockers in the rooms or hallways. The view from my room was very nice.

The dorms and bathrooms were really clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They spoke very good English too. Breakfast was good, and the hostel's nearby restaurant and pizzeria was a great place for dinner, with low prices, great quality, and attentive, friendly staff. When we stayed, hostel guests got their first drink free at the pizzeria. The only annoying thing was that the shower doors didn't lock. It wasn't really a problem, though, since the bathrooms are separated by gender. Amazing place. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again.

A real bargain for the price. I had my own room since the hostel wasn't full, and the staff were super friendly. There's also a restaurant next door with amazing pizza and great-value lunches. It suited my running and hiking trip around the Aosta area perfectly, and seems like it would work well for mountain biking groups too. I'd stay here again.

A modest, inexpensive place that can host larger groups. There are twin rooms as well as bunk beds, and a restaurant nearby serves authentic Italian food. A good option for tourists looking for somewhere to stay.

The only real drawback was the climb back up from town: the hostel sits higher up, so getting there takes a bit of energy, though most of our group managed fine. Otherwise, it was a great stay, with a lovely view and extremely clean rooms. Most rooms have three beds, and there are two toilets and two showers in a large washroom shared by every five rooms. I was there for J.M. Kosterlitz's colloquium in the conference room in the Mine buildings. There's a good restaurant opposite the dorms.
