The meal was the best we had on our recent Sicily trip, and probably the least expensive too. Eating in an old train station made it even more memorable. We worked our way through traditional Sicilian appetizers, wonderful pasta, and panna cotta, and left completely full. The staff were quick and helpful when I asked about the many gluten-free choices. The setting is lovely, and we enjoyed wandering around the property. Next time we're in Sicily, we'll make a special trip to picturesque Ficuzza to stay at the hotel and eat here again. It would also be a great spot for a banquet or wedding.

There's a lovely relaxation area on site, and the location is beautiful. The food was very good too.

We were so full after the feast that a walk in the forest beforehand is a good idea. The service was super slick, with the waiters and waitresses quietly keeping an eye on every table and making sure everyone had what they needed. I'm vegetarian and would have been fine with bread and butter while eating out with others, but even with a fixed menu they made sure I had plenty to eat.
