Hotel Costes

We travel around the world, but we’ve never felt more disrespected than we did here. Our group of 24 experienced travelers was shocked by the way we were treated at Hotel Costes in Badia. From the moment we arrived, the owner was rude, aggressive and completely unwelcoming. She shouted at guests, behaved disrespectfully and unprofessionally, and openly said she was the owner. We’ve never encountered this kind of hostility or lack of basic hospitality anywhere else. She clearly doesn’t know how to run a hotel or treat guests with basic courtesy. We strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. We’ll never return.

We found out after our first dinner that eating at the hotel was better than commuting to a nearby village, so we hadn’t booked dinners at first but changed our minds. We’d happily stay again. We came up for the Maratona ‘22, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were next level and helped a lot with my recovery. One tip: checkout works differently from most American hotels, where you can just leave. You’re welcome 🙂

An excellent base for holidays in either winter or summer, right on the ski slopes. The service and cuisine were excellent, and the spa has an indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, hamman and other amenities.

For me, this is the best choice in the area. We’ve stayed here many times in both summer and winter. The rooms are clean and spacious, the food is great, and the wellness facilities are lovely. The lift is only a few metres away. Highly recommended!
