We booked 4 nights at Eden Park and stayed for 7, which says a lot, but there’s more to it. The hotel sits right on its own private stretch of beach, with brand new sun-beds and an umbrella included in the price, extras at many other places. The outdoor pool is well looked after. I think it’s heated, though I was usually the only one in it, so maybe not. Between the pool and beach is a lovely tree-shaded spot for breakfast or a drink later on. The staff were all great. MaGi and Alessia at reception looked after us brilliantly. Raphaele the Lifeguard even came to the local train station on his Vespa with the right keys after we took the wrong locks for the complimentary new Hotel bikes. He did it all with a smile and a joke. The bedroom furniture might seem a little dated, but we liked that charm. So many modern hotels look the same and lack character. Our room 205 was very comfortable, and the view was lovely. Dinner was several courses, too much food for us every night, so we switched to B&B for the last few nights and ate out locally, making good use of the bikes. We loved it and will definitely return, maybe even before the end of the Season. Grazie per Tutti ❤️.

The single rooms face the main road, which is a shame. One of the two waitresses spoke very little German, a minor drawback, and it would be nice if the excellent waiters paid more attention to individual guests. The housekeeping and hotel staff were fantastic, and my room was exceptionally clean. I did notice three faults: the light switch holders were loose, the window handles were broken so the windows opened easily but wouldn’t close properly, and the outlet holder in the bathroom was faulty. I’d be delighted to have the chance to stay here again sometime.

Everyone was so welcoming, and the food was excellent. Our room at the seaside hotel in Diano Marina was spacious, nicely furnished, and had all the comforts we needed. One small thing: I wish the minibar didn’t have all those plastic cups and bottles. I’d still highly recommend it.
