Baur Am See

The restaurant’s terrace overlooks the lake, and I can highly recommend it. Their trout dish is a real specialty, prepared by a chef who clearly knows fish. It was exactly right and very tasty, with the skin and bones separating cleanly from the meat. Many thanks for the experience!

I loved the hotel's vintage charm, even though the rooms are modern. My husband, two friends and I had a comfortable, lovely stay, and the setting was perfect for walking around the lake after meals. The owner was a wonderful host.

The lake is so close, and the hotel has spectacular views. We spent four days here and loved it all: delicious food, a marvelous owner and staff, and a super clean, tidy place. There's a bar with a variety of drinks, parking for guests, and a bus stop right opposite. Thank you all for making our holiday one to remember. Your first Maltese guests 🙂

We came hoping to check in and then have dinner, but the front door was shut, so we had to go around through the restaurant. Once inside, people shouted at us, “there's nothing for you here, the toilet is further down.” They were very unpleasant.
