B&B Proserpina

This was my favorite B&B of the Sicily Divide ride, even though Enna itself wasn’t my favorite city. The room was cosy, practical, and clean, the service was kind, and breakfast was great. I’d happily come back if I needed to stay in Enna.

Laura and Davio were kind and helpful hosts at this bicycle-friendly Sicily Divide BnB. We stayed in the Cerbere room on the 2nd floor. It was quiet and comfortable, with a compact bathroom and good WiFi. The BnB is in a fabulous location, in a cool old building renovated with modcons. Breakfast had both sweet and savory food, though we would’ve liked a few healthier choices, like natural yogurt or integral bread. That’s just our preference. We recommend it for a stay in Enna.

We were glad we reserved and paid for garage space, since it meant we could leave the car behind during our stay. The location is great, with everything within walking distance. Our hosts were helpful despite us not having much of a common language, and we enjoyed a meal at their restaurant, Bistrò Paradiso. The rooms were cosy and comfortable to return to after a long day out. The common areas, with exposed stone and lovely decorations, had a welcoming feel, and we enjoyed breakfast there. We also appreciated having a kettle and tea in the room, which was a first for us on this trip.

With the B&B right in the center, there are lots of nearby places to eat, shop, or stop for coffee or a drink at one of the small bars. The host was warm, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast was excellent.
