For just 5€, breakfast was unbelievable: the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had, hazelnut cake, two nicely tart preserves, rolls, butter, cappuccino, little cookies, and granola with fresh fruit and yogurt. The host was extremely kind, and the balcony view was spectacular. Our room was elegant but still comfortable, and the hotel was very well priced. One drawback is how little food there is in town, especially Sunday through Tuesday. Without a car, dinner could be hard to find, though there’s a grocery store if cheese and pickles for dinner will do.

The owner was a lovely woman and sent us off with good wishes, a bottle of wine, and a corkscrew. My girlfriend and I were there for one night in May during the off-season, with the place to ourselves. The food and stay were amazing. I’m really grateful for her kindness and hospitality. Definitely check it out!

Breakfast was wonderful, and the restaurant serves great food. Do try the homemade veal tongue. Maria is an incredible host, with perfect, attentive service.
