Villa Alma Bed & Breakfast

We feel at home here, and the location is really good, with small shops and convenience stores within walking distance. Everything was planned well at Villa Alma for our flight from Rome to Montreal Airport tomorrow. They called to ask our estimated arrival time, provided parking inside the villa, and offered coffee when we arrived. The property was very clean, and the staff were welcoming, greeting us with a smile. We haven't had breakfast yet, but trust it'll be good.

We had a lovely little room and a peaceful yard, with everything we needed. The owner was really nice, and the place is affordable for this area and so close to FCO. Breakfast was very simple, just espresso, toast, and a few treats. Great pizza is only a short walk away, and there’s also a grocery store with fresh salads, deli food, and alcohol.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and I’d recommend this as a reasonably priced base if you’re mostly planning to explore Rome instead of spending time in the room. You can drive to the metro in about 15 minutes. There’s a large car park there for 1.5 euros a day, and the ride into the city center takes another 15 minutes.

Enrico was very polite and helpful. I assume he’s the owner. The place is a little outside the center of Fiumicino, about a seven-minute walk, but it’s really quiet. I’d definitely stay here again if I needed somewhere to sleep in the area.
