1 Suite Firenze

The room was spacious and comfortable, and I loved the bathtub. High ceilings, frescoes, and polished wooden floors made my Firenze stay feel special. Even the old elevator was a delight. I like traditional solutions, and this one seemed ingeniously made without needing a modern replacement. From the window, the magnificent view made me imagine I was Leonardo taking in the city. The street noise could be a bit much, but I found it comforting, part of the Florence experience. Staying here is a memory I’ll cherish. Grazie mille!

That tiny elevator is lovely and interesting, but keep in mind you may need to take the stairs. The host also asks for photos of ID documents before arrival. The room itself was large, with a comfortable bed, and the location was good. The bathroom was a real letdown for the price and looks overdue for renovation. Water leaked out of the bathtub and damaged the door and floor, while the drain made a loud noise constantly, even at night.

We didn’t feel comfortable here. The rooms would have made a very different impression if they’d all looked like the photos.

The bathroom flooded when I showered because water leaked from the bathtub. My room was on the second floor. Still, it was a great stay overall, clean and cozy, and I’d recommend it.
