10/10

Benedetta and Gabrielle made us feel at home from the start. They’re among the kindest, warmest hosts we’ve met, and we’d gladly return to explore more of Tuscany. The room was spotless and roomy, with a lovely renovation that kept the feel of an old noble residence while adding modern comforts. Each morning brought plenty of fresh breakfast choices. The building’s Renaissance style, grand wooden door, and charming cobblestone street set the mood as soon as we arrived. The scents and little details made everything feel special. We wholeheartedly recommend B&B Isola d'Arno in Florence. It’s a real gem, and easy to book with confidence.

Benedetta and Gabrielle were so kind and helpful, with good suggestions for meals, getting around, and finding coffee beans to take home. They’re a big reason Florence will always mean so much to us. The B&B is in a beautiful Renaissance building, and our room was bright, spacious, and spotless. We slept comfortably in the large bed with soft pillows, and there was plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was roomy and modern, with a generous shower. Breakfast had lots of fresh local food, and the coffee was the best we’ve ever had. Thank you, Benedetta and Gabrielle!

There were cappuccinos and espresso ready whenever we wanted them, and the buffet was delicious. Benedicta also gave us great suggestions, arranged a taxi for our early train, and packed us a full lunch bag to take along. The location is ideal, near lots of bars and restaurants and within walking distance of everything. Benedicta and the whole B&B team were so attentive and helpful. Such a special place, thank you!

10/10

The location was perfect, right by some of the city’s best reviewed restaurants and leather workers. I loved the espresso drinks and breakfast, especially the lemon curd pie. There was the usual European spread of fruit, meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, and granola. I just wish the fruit bowl stayed out all day so I could grab a kiwi or apricot at midnight. The cream cheese tasted like Philadelphia, but there weren’t any bagels, which may just be my American side talking. The hostess met me at the door, helped with my bag, and made check-in easy despite the elevator and stairs. Everyone was friendly. The shared areas felt set up for socializing, and the cute patio had seating for every room. The ceilings were about 5 meters high, with huge windows and air conditioning that could get icy, which I needed during my stay. The courtyard was very quiet, and with shutters and blackout curtains I slept well. The bed was comfortable too. The elevator had a creepy drop that scared me, and I didn’t love having to unlock it. That’s the worst thing I can say. This was the best hotel experience of my 30 days traveling around Europe, truly a 10/10.
