A Beautiful Florence

I paid a budget-friendly rate even though October was still high season, so I didn’t expect much. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and quiet the place was. The owner is a sweet older lady who’s happy to help and explain everything, though she only speaks Italian. If you run into trouble, they respond on WhatsApp and send detailed information in English. The location isn’t far from the historic center, but I’d take a bus. After the park, there’s only a slow traffic road and no pedestrian path. I’d also recommend visiting Stibbert Museum, which is easy to reach by bus from here.

I can’t wait to return to Florence and book this lovely, cozy b&b again. The rooms are great and made me feel like I was in an Italian movie. The whole place feels like a home, and the owners are a genuinely sweet Italian couple. There’s a guy who helps you get there and answers questions over WhatsApp. I totally recommend staying here.

The bed was uncomfortable, there were hairs from previous guests in the bathroom, and breakfast was just wrapped cakes and sweet croissants, nothing decent. We had booked three nights but left after the first one.

The location was terrible, and both the rooms and bathrooms were dirty. What we found also didn’t match the photos on the website we booked through.
