We were lucky to get a balcony with a perfect view of the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral. Having breakfast and dinner with that view made each meal a chance to admire a great work of the Italian Renaissance. We spent three nights in one of the excellent apartments at "Il Doumo" in Florence, and the owner gave us a lovely welcome. The apartment itself was amazing. The owners were always available, and showed us both places to visit nearby and the best gelato artigianale italiano. Next time in Florence, only Il Douomo!

Getting around was easy, with all the attractions within walking distance. The staff, location, and facilities were all good, and the location was perfect. Parking can be a problem if you're driving.

The view from the top floor is worth the tiring climb. It's a great building.

We could walk to the train station, and the historic center, museums, and restaurants were all close by. The location is excellent, and the value for money was quite good. Our room looked out at the bell tower, the B&B was clean, and the owners were kind and welcoming. We had a great stay.
