The host was welcoming and helpful with suggestions for places nearby. Santo spirito is a lovely area for trying food and exploring, and the guesthouse is about a 20-minute walk from the town centre. I had a single room. It was adequate and, as expected for the price, not especially spacious.

We loved how clean the room was, and the daily snacks were a nice extra. The owner was really kind and talked us through everything we needed to know, with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. A very good hotel experience!

The owner was a pleasure to deal with, polite, quick to help, and generous with recommendations, umbrellas, maps, and books to read. A late checkout was arranged without any trouble. The room was cleaned every day and had lots of space and storage: a wardrobe, bedside tables, desk, chaise lounge, and large fridge. We were also left water, a kettle, tea, coffee, cake, and biscuits each day. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. The bathroom was small but had enough room, with a toilet and built-in bidet, sink, mirror, storage, and a comfortable shower. Soap and body wash were provided too. Incredible value for a stay in Florence, and I’d heartily recommend it.

Denis was delightful and very helpful when we arrived and throughout our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Althea Rooms and would highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back. A presto, Denis!

Tony was incredibly helpful with anything we needed, and the location was handy for nice trattorias and just a few minutes from the historic center. Our room at Althea Rooms was spacious, lovely, and spotlessly clean. A little breakfast basket was provided and refreshed on our second day. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend the place.
