Hotel Ariele

After long days walking around Florence, we found the hotel comfortable and relaxing, with a home-like feel. Our room was spacious, with a remarkably high ceiling, and had a fridge, kettle, and even a bathtub, which is a rare treat. Staff were consistently welcoming, friendly, and professional from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was enjoyable, especially the pastries, cakes, and good coffee. The breakfast room staff were attentive and helpful. More hot food options would add variety. A couple of other things could be better: the modern-looking lift moves extremely slowly, so busy periods can mean a wait, and the room safe was too small for a laptop. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

I stayed two nights and found the staff very helpful, including lending me an umbrella and giving useful information. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. Restaurants are nearby, and the main sights are about a 15-minute walk away.

Breakfast was a standout, with quality and variety far better than at most hotels we've stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful from the start. Our room felt luxurious, with lots of space, a modern look, excellent bed and bedding, and the fluffiest hotel towels I've ever seen. Hotel Ariele is close to the train station, Firenze Santa Maria Novella, and bus stops that can take you around Florence. Most major attractions are walkable too, which we loved. We were really impressed and would definitely stay again.

The neighborhood was lovely, though the main museums were a bit farther away than we're used to, about half a kilometer. We would still gladly stay there again. The room and bathroom were great, the front desk staff very helpful, and breakfast was delicious with a nice range of food and drinks.
