For food nearby, we liked La Farina pizzeria up the road 👍👍, Amalfitana for its friendly family-run feel and great food, and La Carbonita, which has a lovely garden and excellent food. The apartment itself was comfortable and quiet, with a great location and incredible value. A fantastic base for a stay in magical Florence.

The kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom was very clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable and in good shape. The landlord was very friendly too. There’s a supermarket, café and other things nearby, and the city center is about a 15-20 minute walk away. A couple of things to know: the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there’s no elevator. There’s no parking except on Sundays, otherwise it costs €2 an hour. If you’re reasonably fit, pack light and don’t need parking, it’s a lovely, practical place.

We could walk to the city center in just a few minutes, and there was parking nearby if you drive. The host was warm, smiling, and really helpful. The apartment was spotless, brand new, and furnished with good taste. I’ll be back!

We felt very welcome by the owner. The place is airy, full of style, and really charming, and it’s been so well looked after. There’s a retro staircase in the building. I’d definitely recommend it.
