We went for a couple of days and just wanted the essentials, which the place provided: a good bed and a nice bathroom. It was a decent base for sleeping while we explored Florence. Some things could use attention. There were cracks and damp areas in the room and bathroom. We had a boiler, so a small supply of coffee and tea would've been useful. For cleaning, someone made the bed, but left the same towels and cups we'd used.

I hated this place. The old stairs up to the second floor were exhausting with luggage, and getting to Florence's main station wasn't easy. There's no food at the property, and nobody lives there to help with your needs, so once you're in, you're on your own. There wasn't a nearby cafe or restaurant open in the morning either. The photos on the website didn't match what we actually saw.

The place was run down and had black mold everywhere. Even the smell was bad enough. When I asked the owner for another room, they denied the request and eventually stopped responding. I didn't stay and asked for a full refund, but got no answer to that either. I've seen plenty of bad reviews for this place, and they keep deleting them. If you're lucky enough to see this, don't book. This place is a complete scam.

The room was reasonably priced, and the town wasn't very far away.
