I booked in March and kept getting emails saying my card details weren't valid. When I called the owner, he said my name wasn't on his list, started naming other people, and told me to phone another number. Nobody answered that number. I sent him my booking confirmation, but he ignored me. I contacted my bank about it and reported fraudulent activity. I can assure you this is a scam. Don't book here. Avoid it at all costs!

The area was a bright spot: pleasant, away from the noisy part of town, and walkable even at night. Inside, though, the bed takes up almost the whole middle of the room, so getting to the bathroom or the other room means squeezing sideways. Someone with bigger legs might not fit through at all. Check-in was uncertain right up to the last minute. A woman from the management company finally answered my call and gave me the entry codes. There’s only one key, attached to the electricity key, and they won’t provide a second one, so two people have to stay together or coordinate whenever they split up. Getting back in at night is awkward too, since someone inside has to open the stiff door. The two stars feel deserved.

A few days ago, the provider canceled my booking at the last minute, even though I’d reserved the room in advance through booking.com. I can only imagine they got a higher offer. It cost me hundreds of euros. They seem opportunistic, and I wouldn’t count on them honoring a booking.

More than three weeks later, the hotel still hasn’t returned the over €400 that was supposed to be refunded to my credit card. They tricked me into paying twice after a callback on my card. Where I’m from, that’s theft. Please don’t go here.
