Hotel Andrea

The only real plus was being very close to the train station. I stayed two days, and this place doesn't deserve to be called a hotel. The bathrooms were tiny, dirty, and had lots of mold in the shower. They didn't provide soap or shampoo, so bring your own. The bed was split and really uncomfortable. They charged 5 euros per bag to store luggage. Check-in after 10 PM wasn't free: arriving between 10 PM and 11:59 PM meant paying 40 dollars in cash, and after midnight there was no check-in.

The view from the room was AMAZING, and the room itself felt homey and was clean, with a big, spacious bathroom. The staff were so friendly, and one gentleman even held the door for us when we arrived. Getting there was easy to figure out, just a four-minute bus ride from the train station. There's free Wi-Fi and TV, and breakfast was available for a very reasonable price. The one awkward bit is reaching the entrance: go through the big wooden doors, buzz open the inner gate, squeeze into a small lift, then ride up to the third floor.

For the price, it's an okay place for a night or two, and the city center is a 10-15 minute walk away. Some staff were nice, others less so. The rooms looked older than the photos suggested and didn't feel especially fresh or clean. The walls are so thin you can hear whatever's going on in the neighboring room. Shower pressure was very weak too, so it takes ages to wash.

The window view was the one thing I really enjoyed. When we arrived, the room smelled incredibly bad, and we couldn't get the odor out during our five nights there. At night there was also a group of people outside the building, people on the fringes of society, making an obnoxious amount of noise. The place seemed to be falling apart: the shower often didn't work properly, and the beds were uncomfortable. I could go on, but that gives the idea.
