Hotel Arno Bellariva

The manager gave us useful advice on getting around the city, trying local food, and avoiding tourist traps. The service and connectivity were good, and I appreciated his professionalism and effort to offer the best service he could with the resources available. The hotel itself was lovely, with clean rooms and a good breakfast. If it hadn't rained, we would've enjoyed eating outside.

A good budget option compared with other hotels, and really well located!

We spent two nights here, and the old style comes with some limits, so don't expect luxury. Still, the staff are friendly and ready to help if you ask. Our room was clean, spacious enough for luggage, and had good ventilation. There was an issue with the toilet flush, but staff handled it honestly and quickly. Breakfast did the job, though a few more bread and fruit choices would have been nice. It suited us since we were out in the city all day, and the place is close to public transport and the riverside bridge, as well as the city center.

I regret booking hotel Arno for my Florence trip. I hadn't realized it was quite far from the main city area, and both the room and bathroom were run down. I gave a two-star hotel a try, but learned my lesson. Choose a place that fits the kind of hotel you normally like, and try to stay close to the attractions you want to see, especially if you're only in town for a two-day trip.
