Hotel Savoy

The food wasn't especially tasty, though the bread, eggs and truffles were filling and good. For the same price, there are better options, I swear. But what mattered most to me was the excellent service from Carmine. He came to my rescue, was dedicated to looking after me, and was incredibly kind and polite. I wish him all the best.

We picked Hotel Savoy for its central spot, and the breakfast with its view over the Piazza was perfect. The service from the doormen, reception and concierge felt genuine and effortless. Our room was spacious and well laid out, with all the amenities we wanted. Most of all, the bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept so well. The shower was hot with excellent pressure. I'd highly recommend the hotel for a better Florence stay. Russell N

For three nights, Jan 17-20, the RF Hotel Savoy treated me like a guest in someone's home. The service was anticipatory without being overbearing: eye contact, a real smile, active listening, and things handled behind the scenes so I was comfortable without having to ask. Wherever I encountered a staff member, they paused what they were doing and gave me their attention. That's rare hospitality, and I rarely say this about a hotel, but it was MY pleasure to be hosted there. Well done. I've stayed at some of the best hotels around the world through my travels, and even luxury places don't all deliver the same way. Some rely on location, others on amenities or reputation. My first RF hotel experience was a standout. The staff, room and location were all exceptional, with an elegance of service I've only found at the RCR Krabi property and a few boutique stays. Their exceptional Hd'V Rome doesn't even have this particular quality. The Junior Suite was beautifully designed and amazingly appointed. Irene Forte products were wonderful, though watch the lotion spout, it shoots straight out. It got my pants, but the hotel cleaned them right away and we all laughed. The small, intimate bar is stunning, and their Artemisia martini is next level. The waiters, bartenders and doormen were exceptional, checking in and chatting when I wanted, while letting me lead. The front desk and concierge were brilliant. They had everything on the pre-arrival checklist ready, and even though we arrived early, the room was fully prepared. The one downside is there isn't a spa. I considered that as an international traveler just off a plane, but everything else was so exceptional I forgot about it. You're in Florence, in a fantastic location and a wonderful hotel. Have an Artemisia martini and go walk around the heart of the Renaissance. You won't be disappointed.

The staff were on another level, making me feel like family, and the food was great. My premium room, 502, had a stunning Duomo view; it was quiet and very comfortable too. The location is so central. Best hotel experience I've ever had. I'd give it 100/10 if I could, and without a doubt I'll be back.
