Il Perseo

We found check-in and check-out very easy, and the staff were fantastic. They even booked us a dinner reservation when we asked. The room was comfortable, clean and nice, and was tidied daily. Breakfast was good, too. The location is the real highlight, right in the heart of Florence and steps from the Cathaderale Santa Maria Del Fiore. You can walk to anywhere you’d want to go. I’d certainly recommend staying here.

When we were leaving for the airport, I realized I’d left my laptop in the room. I alerted the staff, and someone waited outside for me and ran it out to the taxi. That kind of care really goes above and beyond. We hope to return to Hotel Perseo. The staff were personable and hospitable even before we arrived, making sure we’d be comfortable. They remembered our coffee order each morning, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. The location is fantastic, right by Piazza del Duomo and within walking distance of all Florence has to offer.

The bathroom was very small, and the shower temperature swung from scorching hot to ice cold. Those were the downsides of our three-night stay at Hotel Perseo. The rooms were clean and charming, breakfast was great, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was incredible, and the stay was well worth the price. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Florence.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, but nothing luxurious or especially up to date. Staff and location are the real strengths: the team adds a personal touch and is amazing, while the hotel is centrally placed, minutes from the station and the main tourist area of Florence. Breakfast was decent, definitely enough, though not the best.
