The apartment was neat and clean, and Lorenzo was always helpful and easy to work with. I met and spoke with the owner several times during the stay. It’s less than a mile from Porto Romano, where there are bus stops for cheap transportation. Taxis can really add up, and Uber Black costs even more. You may have to wait a while for a taxi: once we waited 30 minutes, and sometimes they just aren’t available.

Lorenzo was a brilliant host, and we had a great time at the Greenhouse. The apartment was spacious, clean, beautiful, and quiet. I’d recommend staying here.

It was easy to walk to most of Florence’s sights in about 30 minutes. The apartment itself was lovely, and the host was helpful. A quiet, relaxing place away from the busy parts of town.

We spent three weeks here and were really happy with the choice. It was quiet and felt upmarket. Close by were cafes, an organic fruit and veg shop, local pizza places, artisan jewellery, home decor, clothing, art, and food shops. Bobili Gardens and Pitti Palace were a short walk away. We could also walk to central Florence in about 30 minutes for more shops, local artists’ work, and, of course, gelato.
