The reception staff were very helpful, and the location is handy for both the main sights and the train station, with a supermarket nearby. We used it for food shopping, and the station makes day trips to Tuscan towns by train easy. The apartment is spacious and on the second floor; there's an elevator, though it's tiny. The kitchen and bathroom had plenty of towels and bath essentials, and we browsed some of the English art books. The downsides were the noise: traffic from the street came through even with the windows shut, especially at weekends, and we could hear a lot from the apartment above. The mattresses were old and frayed, and the TV only had Italian channels.

The apartment has a rustic feel, plenty of space, and thoughtful little details. It was also an excellent spot, just minutes from Florence's historic center.

Service was quick and well organized, and the guide's suggested travel options were useful. The place had good storage and enough room for a longer stay. There are well-known restaurants nearby, and Santa Novella Station is very close, making trips to Pisa, Cinque Terre, and Siena convenient. Getting around was easy. The big drawback was the early morning noise, with cars and other sounds from the road coming through loudly. I'd stay again if I get the chance.

I spent three days here, from 19/10 to 21/10/2021. Everything the apartment was supposed to have was there, but none of it worked. After all the places I've stayed, this was the worst experience I've had. A real disappointment.
