La Torre di Dante

We were really happy with our stay. Great place, and I’d recommend it!

The location was perfect, and I had everything I needed. It was also easy to reach the managers whenever I wanted to ask something.

Once you make it up the stairs, there’s a charming little studio waiting, right in the center of Florence and close to everything. The climb is tough, so you’ll want strong legs and not much luggage. The windows are great, and the air conditioning lets you rest in the middle of the city without being disturbed. If we return to Florence, we’d stay again if our legs are up to it. With some effort, this place could get to 8. Some things could use attention: the general cleanliness felt a bit questionable, although the sheets, pillows, and mattress were clean. The refrigerator needs cleaning and defrosting, which could also save energy. Water only comes out of the bottom of the bidet, so it can’t be used. A small closet by the entrance could hold the broom, mop, and duvet, and it would be useful to have a mirror there too.

The owners are really kind, and I highly recommend the apartment. It’s in a great spot, just 3 minutes from the cathedral and a 12-minute walk from the train station.
