Live Florence Guesthouse

If you’re looking for an affordable stay in the center of Florence, Live Florence Guest House is a decent option. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, kept in good shape, and have the essentials, though there’s nothing particularly luxurious. For budget travelers, it offers a reasonable mix of comfort and price. The location is a real plus: the Duomo is about a 5-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. It’s easy to try local food and enjoy Florence’s lively atmosphere. The guest house won’t match a high-end hotel for luxury, but its central position, room space, and affordability make it worth considering.

Stefano communicated with us perfectly. The room was spacious and clean, with a small balcony and a decent-sized bathroom. A great location for a quick city break.

We left and rented another hotel. The website refunded our money. The owner was aggressive and unprofessional, yelled at us, and threatened not to give us the keys. Instead of apologizing for making us wait, he said he was entitled to dinner and that we should have told him when we’d arrive. I explained that we’d been on the road without internet, but he said that was our problem and told us to go back to our country if we weren’t happy. We’d booked three nights, but it was hard to find the place because there were no signs, only a door and a bell. The neighborhood felt very suspicious. We called and knocked without success until the owner finally came at 3:30 pm. When we asked about the service and how he could be absent when guests were expected, he started shouting.

Our stay was canceled just one day before we were due to arrive :) It caused a lot of stress and problems, so I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
