Luxury Flat in Florence Centre

Mario made us feel incredibly welcome, meeting us downstairs by his shop, where he sells really tasty sandwiches. We were hungry and bought some right away. Inside, he had left us a bottle of wine and a vase of assorted fruit. The apartment is spacious, cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed. The linens and towels were amazingly clean and smelled lovely. The bathroom was just as clean, which pleased my wife, who's very particular about that and couldn't find a fault. It felt like a five-star hotel. We picked Mario's apartments for a couple of nights in Florence after seeing the good reviews, and they turned out even better than expected. The place is right in the center, just a two-minute walk from all the attractions. We'll definitely stay with Mario again on our next visit. A real gem.

The owner got in touch two days before we arrived and kept helping us find the property right up until we got there. He gave us a warm welcome and coffee. The place is only meters from the center, in a historic, impressive house with big rooms and excellent cleanliness. There was fruit, coffee, and all kinds of kitchen supplies, plus a very clean bathroom and toilet. Parking in Italy is expensive, and finding an empty spot can be hard, but he helped us find one and gave us a discount. The parking spot was good and ended up being very cheap. He was such a sweet, charming host. We had a perfect short family holiday.

Mario was so kind and helpful, and kept in touch really well over WhatsApp. He even booked us a taxi to the airport for 4am. The location made it easy to get around the whole city. Although the apartment is on a busy road, the bedroom is at the back of the house, so we didn't hear any street noise. We stayed in the larger suite and were surprised by how spacious it was. For a longer trip, I'd recommend it, since there's a kitchen and a couch area to relax in.

Mario makes a 10/10 porchetta sandwich and was extremely accommodating. The rooms are well placed near the old city center, and the train station is an easy walk away. He's a wonderful host. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Florence.
