For me, breakfast was the worst part. The hostess sat beside me and talked at length about esotericism and other things I consider nonsense. You also have to cross her apartment and garden to reach the shed, which felt very uncomfortable. The place itself is basically a garden shed with a bed and bathroom, and it has a slight moldy smell. The one small upside I can think of is the price, but even that doesn’t make up for the rest. This place by itself ruined our Florence vacation. I really don’t get how anyone could rate it above two stars.

My husband and I stayed for two nights in July while attending a conference at the Mandela Forum. It’s easy enough to walk to via the station, and handy for the Coop and other shops. Just watch out for parking, since you need either blue lines or a parking disc. The B&B is very welcoming, and the bathroom’s hot tub is spectacular. Rossella’s desserts and hospitality are hard to beat. We’ll try to come back this summer, if we can find a room. I’m writing this review a little late, though honestly the other guests have already said it all.

Rossella made us feel so welcome. My husband and I had a lovely, relaxing stay, with a jacuzzi in the bathroom and delicious pastries at breakfast. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The owner is so kind and friendly, and makes delicious breakfasts. The house is lovely and feels far removed from the city. Highly recommended!
