We were confused about what we were paying, and the plates hadn’t been washed properly. For the premium price, I expected better service. There were only two toilet rolls for three people over two days, so we had to buy more. The woman also wouldn’t help arrange a taxi, apparently because that was beyond her pay rate. The location and apartment are great, but this was a 3/5 stay.

We had the deluxe 4 apartment, and its little balcony was lovely for looking down at Florence’s streets and people over breakfast or a late glass of wine. The place was central, spacious, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, it was spotless when we arrived, and the staff were friendly and easy to reach. My friends and I couldn’t think of a single thing to complain about. It’s a high-quality apartment at a very reasonable price, and I’d strongly recommend it.

The check-in woman seemed in a hurry to leave and didn’t give us a map or advice about the area. She also didn’t explain how to separate recycling or where to put rubbish, so we had full bins for the whole week. We were only given two toilet rolls for a week and had to buy more. The flat is actually a three-bedroom place, but they lock off one side when there are only four guests. A few things were missing, though we made do. For four adults cooking for ourselves, the kitchen was very basic and the small bar fridge wasn’t really enough. For the price, it wasn’t great.

We liked the apartment. It was clean, well organized, and in a great location, and the staff responded promptly.
