Palazzo Ridolfi

The Santo Spirito neighborhood felt wonderfully local, with great restaurants and bars, and it was far enough from the crowds. When we wanted to see the galleries and Duomo, it was an easy walk across the river. The Arno is just steps from the hotel, and we enjoyed strolling there after a delicious breakfast each morning. Our Superior Double was spacious, very clean and comfortable, with a lovely bright bathroom, and was a joy to stay in for six nights. This three star hotel felt more like a boutique bed and breakfast, and became one of our favorite places in Italy. From arrival, the welcome and hospitality were outstanding. The staff were gracious and helped with restaurant bookings, transport, and all our questions. We can't wait to come back.

The room and service have blown us away, even though we only just arrived for our honeymoon. We've stayed in seven hotels so far on this Europe trip, with two more still ahead, and this is the only one I've gone out of my way to review. I believe Natalia and Francesca were the staff who helped us, and they were incredibly kind and helpful, giving us five star service. The room is wonderful, clean and modern, in a beautiful spot in the heart of Florence, while still keeping the building's artwork and history. Everything was carefully explained and provided when we arrived. I'm extremely grateful to the staff here. They've been the best of our trip, and I can't imagine changing my mind about our stay. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Palazzo Ridolfi is where we'll stay again when we return to Florence. We spent six nights there and loved the large, tastefully furnished room, especially its decorated curved ceiling. The staff were professional, attentive, friendly, and quick to help, particularly Sarah, Francesca, and Evita. They handled bookings and tourist questions efficiently. It's a luxurious hotel with old world charm, in a quiet Oltarno neighborhood within walking distance of the main sights.

We stayed in a suite with a striking domed, double height decorated ceiling, and coming back to it each evening was a delight. It was spotless and well equipped, with a dressing area, freestanding bath, large ensuite with two sinks, and a roomy rainfall shower. The hotel is luxurious and very close to the River Arno, so getting into the city center was easy. There's no restaurant, but breakfast is a traditional continental buffet with plenty of choices, and cooked eggs are available if requested. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was the icing on the cake of a fabulous stay in one of the world's great cities.
