The cozy interior has an authentic charm, and they were generous with the Parmesan served alongside the pasta. Still, the place felt touristy and we left disappointed. It wasn’t awful, but I don’t think it deserves a 4.7 rating. The tiramisu was the one dish that really impressed us: richer and heavier than the traditional kind, but delicious. The truffle ravioli was also better than the clam pasta, though five pieces felt overpriced. Most of the clams were empty, and the pasta itself lacked depth, tasting mainly of garlic and olive oil. Service was average at best. They charged us €6 for three pieces of bread, and initially forgot the tiramisu even though we’d only ordered three items. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was great. Service was the best we’d had in Florence. Saidul was a terrific waiter and made sure my gluten-free takeaway meal was hot and ready when I wanted it.

Nara was incredibly sweet and attentive, and her service made the whole evening feel special. From beginning to end, we had a wonderful visit. The room was elegant but still welcoming, just right for a special night out. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and everything from starters to dessert exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this place for the food, service, and memorable evening. We’ll be back.

The host Chris was warm and easy to talk to. We started with the chef’s special selection of meats and cheeses, which was thoughtfully put together and delicious. The buffalo mozzarella stood out, and we especially liked the sweet onion jam, though all the meats and cheeses were good. For mains, try the gnocchi gorgonzola, strozzapreti osteria, and the house pici cacio e pepe, which is prepared at the table. The tiramisu was outstanding. We kept eyeing the steaks we didn’t order. This is a lovely gem in the heart of Florence, and you won’t be disappointed.
