Max is really nice and does the best he can. I picked this place even though the reviews were only okay because it felt like the safest area in all of Florence. I wanted quick access to the airport, train station, and city centre, and to feel okay walking to my car. If you don't have a car, scooter, or bike, this won't work for you. I don't need all the frills and understand you get what you pay for. Something missing my expectations can still have value for someone else. Be kind and walk softly. This is our only life here on earth, so don't be a tourist, be a pilgrim.

Finding a parking spot took a few minutes, and the bathroom was a little cramped and awkward. Apart from that, it was a nice stay. The beds were comfortable, the location was nice, and the staff were very friendly.

That red room, as I call it, was beautiful, with a princely bed that made it feel like stepping into medieval times. You don't find beds like that these days. We spent Valentine's Day at the residence and had a wonderful time. The owner was welcoming and kind, and suggested things to see and eat. The room and bathroom were clean. Piazza Michelangelo and Palazzo Pitti are only a few minutes away, and we took a scooter to the city centre. We hope to come back soon.
