The property’s quiet yard, pool, and secure parking made for a restful stay in Florence. We had a spacious suite that could comfortably fit six, and the bedroom was nicely equipped with a relaxing bathtub. The furniture is older but suits the place, and although there isn’t much newer technology, everything was clean and roomy. The mini fridge made some noise now and then, but it wasn't a big problem. The courteous receptionist quickly helped arrange transport. You can walk downhill to the city in about 15-20 minutes, or take a taxi from the bottom of the hill for a reasonable 5 euros. It’s a peaceful spot at the top of a hill, a nice break from the city.

We came back to Torre dei Lari after exactly 10 years, and the quality and service are still super high. Thank you for being such a lovely place and giving us a great reason to return to Florence ❤️ Great job, and we’ll definitely be back. Hopefully sooner 😊

After a busy day in the city, the garden and pool are a great place to unwind, and the shuttle down to Porta Romana is really useful. The hotel sits in the hills above Florence in a beautiful, impressive building. Our rooms were charming, spacious, and well equipped, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Quiet, clean, charming, and beautiful, this place is a real gem. The rooms are large, and I enjoyed the homemade Italian food. I also had to work, and the Wi-Fi was really good. The owner makes a next-level Mohito if you feel like a drink. It’s within walking distance of the center and very close to Boboli Gardens. There was even a small intimate wash in the bathroom, the first time I’d seen that provided for women, which was a big plus. I highly recommend it.
