Residenza Martin

Even on a busy street, the room was lovely and quiet. Everything was clean, with signs all around explaining how to use things. The arrival information was clear and easy to refer to.

We stayed at Residence Martin last October, 2023. The place was very safe and well kept, with clean rooms, maintained common areas, updated bathrooms, good water pressure, and nice amenities. It's in a great spot, right next door to the central market where you can shop and eat as much as you like. Vendors are right outside the door, which is handy for souvenirs, though they set up at 7am and can wake you early. The host was wonderful and shared local favorites in Florence as well as restaurants to try in Rome. I'd definitely recommend it and hope to stay again.

Veronica was a fantastic host who made us feel like family, and her restaurant suggestions were spot on. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed to cook, as long as we bought our own food. It's also just a five-minute walk from the train station and close to all the Florence sights. We'll stay here again when we return.

The self check-in was easy, with number locks and documents submitted beforehand. There’s no breakfast, but there are a couple of coffee machines and a kitchen. I had a clean, quiet single room and got a good deal, even though the bathroom was outside the room. It’s close to the railway station, Mercanto Central, and the tourist sights. The bathroom setup was a little inconvenient, but it had been clearly stated before booking.
