The location was good, though the old building came with problems. We first got a third-floor apartment where the bathroom smelled of sewage, so Kevin, who was very nice, moved us to a much better vacant apartment on the first floor. The hot water still wasn’t right there: it only lasted for one shower, despite Kevin saying the tank could supply six people. We told him in the morning, and he said he’d check, but the shortage continued on all three nights. The Wi-Fi was unreliable too, dropping out or failing to connect at all.

Kevin was great and brought breakfast the next morning at the time we’d agreed on. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely stay here on 24/07.

The spot is hard to beat, opposite the Medici Chapels and about five minutes from both the train station and Piazza della Signoria. We appreciated our stay, with the heat inside the apartment feeling pleasant compared with the temperatures outside. Kevin from VipFlorence was polite and helpful throughout. It’s good value for the money, though there was some nighttime noise that we were willing to overlook while on vacation.

Being right in the center of Florence makes this apartment a great find. It’s spacious, nicely decorated, and has everything you need. Just keep in mind it’s up on the third floor with no elevator, but I thought it was worth the climb.
