Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and very high quality. The staff's friendliness felt completely genuine, and they were flexible and accommodating with my special requests. The welcome was warm, and the person who brought my luggage to the room was exceptionally friendly. The place has a special charm, with beautiful, authentic Florentine style. My room was great, and Hotel Silla's location is outstanding. Cross the bridge one way and you're at the edge of the old town. Walk uphill the other way and you can reach a beautiful square in about 15 minutes, perfect for an unforgettable sunrise. Parking in Florence can be difficult, but this was stress-free. I parked in front of the hotel, and the team took the car and put it safely in the garage. I didn't stay anywhere else in Florence, but this honestly feels like one of the best choices you could make. I'm thrilled with my stay and will definitely come back.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, and tea and coffee were available through the day until evening. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, pastries, pancakes, coffee, hot bacon, eggs and tomato. You could eat on the terrace, a quieter choice if the dining area was full of lively tour groups. It's a wonderful haven close to Firenze's main attractions, with a warm welcome that continued throughout the stay. I'd highly recommend it and would definitely return.

I was lucky to get a single room. It was compact, but incredibly comfortable, and the price was excellent for such a central spot. The hotel is charming and just a 10-minute walk from Ponte Vecchio, with the Florence Duomo nearby too. It's a great base for seeing the city's main attractions, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends, family or anyone looking for a place in Florence.

The staff were attentive and handled a group of more than 20 smoothly. Housekeeping was excellent every day, and they respected the Do Not Disturb signs. The accessible room was especially well designed: I could move around independently, and the bathroom had grab bars, a bidet, and both an overhead rain shower and a detachable hose. Getting around the rest of the property is harder. From the sidewalk, there's a small raised lip at the courtyard entrance, then five concrete steps up to the first floor, narrowing as they rise. An automatic stair lift is available for guests who can't manage the steps on their own. The elevator only reaches the first floor, and upper floors require stairs. I stayed on Floor 1, which is the second floor for U.S. travelers. The heated patio has a canopy and no smoking under the tent, but it's reached by one large step and I didn't see a ramp. The room itself is a strong choice for accessibility, though guests who need step-free access in shared areas should check the details before booking.
