The host and the whole crew were fantastic. Marcello, thanks for making us feel welcome after a long, stressful trip. We loved our two-night stay. The rooms felt almost like apartments, and breakfast was above average, with eggs, delicious croissants, ham, fruit, and coffee. There weren't many choices, but we were happy with it. The location is right in the middle of everything. It can get a bit loud with the windows open, but with them shut you can barely hear the crowd. Many thanks to the team.

There's excellent food nearby, and the rooms are clean. You're right in the middle of the attractions, with everything within walking distance. The hotel faces Piazza di San Giovanni. Staff are helpful when they're in the hotel, but otherwise you manage on your own, though the Manager is always reachable by phone. It gets a bit noisy on weekends.

I had paid for this hotel, but ended up finding another place and paying for that myself because the hotel gave me no support. They knew when I was arriving, yet answered none of my emergency calls, messages, or emails. I rarely write negative reviews, but this was beyond unacceptable, and I regret ignoring recent reviews from people with similar experiences. This shows a complete lack of responsibility toward guests, not just poor service. Even if you get in, don't expect help if something goes wrong, like losing your key at night. You'll be entirely on your own. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. Stay away from this hotel!

I felt safe in the well-lit area at night, and even had an elevator. My standard single room was clean, the bed was comfy, and it wasn't noisy. Breakfast included good eggs made by Gill. As a solo female traveler, I highly recommend the place. The airlines, not a USA carrier, left my bags in Lisbon for two days, and Marcel went above and beyond to help. He reassured me the bags would be collected, welcomed me to the terrace with a view and a cold drink on a very hot day, and checked me into my room three hours early. He also suggested places with fab food by local standards. After checkout they let me store my luggage so I could finish my last day of tours. I'll come back when I'm next in Florence.
