The place was quiet, spotless, and friendly, and I slept so well that the price felt worth it. Raj, thanks for being patient. My only gripe is that you need to book before arriving because the front gate is complicated and they need to know you're coming. They replied quickly to my message and let me in promptly. I'd definitely return.

I was wary after reading some of the comments, but I'm glad I went anyway. It isn't a luxury place, though it's really comfortable. Thanks, Firenzeinn.

It's only a 4-5 minute walk from the train station.

The location was good, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and squeaked constantly. Sound came right through the uninsulated plasterboard walls and windows, so passing cars were loud. The bathrooms are shared, and I won't get into the state of them. For what you get, it was quite expensive. I wouldn't recommend it.

The neighborhood was nice, and even booking through Booking.com, the price seemed reasonable for Florence. I had a lovely weekend: the room and shared areas were clean, and the staff were sweet and discreet. The balcony was a nice extra, and I slept well despite the tram passing underneath. I'd happily return. Just be aware that the front door can be awkward to open and close if staff haven't shown you how.
